Wireless hubs create a 100m field of ubiquitous Internet access. Cheap or free wireless Internet hotspots have started springing up in shopping malls, restaurants, public spaces. People are starting to share their Internet connections with neighbors and strangers alike. When the day comes that anyone, nearly anywhere, will be able to turn on a computing device and get an instant free broadband connection, what will the applications be?
