Dave Everitt: Is it worth documenting the changes between running Apache on Mac OS X (under the various incarnations) and on other Unix-based systems? For one, under 10.2.8 the hosts file is overwritten by NetInfo Manager, a wrinkle not immediately apparent until you try to set up virtual hosts (say for local testing)...
