Proprietary Software

It seems to me not very friendly to some Vendors (Apple in paticular), who have the opposite tendency. It may be worth telling people that another scheme exists and that the cash-milk attitude is not always the best one, even from a commercial point of view.

I would not have said "skilled user", because it almost always requires a "skilled programmer".

Also the fact that a program is more robust than another one depends more on the "open" attitude and the reacting delay of the project team than from the fact that it is a proprietary software or an open source project. It all depends on the human beings.
