Electron/Molecule Bridging

Inside a computer and on the Internet stuff exists in a non-tangible form. Usually as electricty or magnetic charge, or as invisible electromagnetic radiation in the case of wireless communications. We perceive it at the input and output devices like when we read from a monitor, and create a perception of it in our consentual imaginations. What about things that take that information and turn it into physical matter or vise versa? Like a printer. Or a scanner. Or a 3D scanner. Or a 3D printer.
